Special-purpose research neutron-physical complexes including: unique plasma focus devices using deuterium-tritium mixture and operating in 0.1 to 2 MA current range that provide generation of intensive neutron, soft and hard X-ray pulses, and equipment for physical modeling of processes in ion sources, elements of electron and ion optics, as well as for modeling of secondary emission and nuclear reactions in neutron tube targets. The facilities are designed for comprehensive investigation of physical processes of pulsed plasma in plasma focus chambers and in neutron tubes of various purposes, as well as for solution of various problems of thermonuclear fusion.
